DATAMED Cloud PACS solution can be deployed in a multi-clinic environment, or used as service in a particular region or country to provide DICOM PACS functionality with additional features. Cloud PACS can be used by individual medical institutions, multiple hospitals, national agencies.

Basic DM PACS RIS features and functions:

  • Powerful DICOM PACS server (local or cloud based);
  • Connections to all standard DICOM modalities, workstations, Viewers etc. via local, VPN or public networks;
  • Anywhere DM RIS WEB interface access via browser (for radiologists, clinicians, GPs, patients, external systems);
  • Built-in Image or document viewers in browser;
  • Results Entry, Reporting, Second opinion, single database for all image and reports data;
  • Study forward, simple workflow;
  • Results printout, e-mailing, CD, patient password, external ID possible;
  • User access control interface;
  • External system integration (additional service) i.e. HIS, insurance, other PACS RIS etc.

How to start?

You can start using DM Cloud PACS immediately after connecting the modality or workstation to DataMed. Please contact us regarding details.

Costs depend or type and number of incoming studies or images, for example, on average EUR 0.50 per CR study single payment all inclusive.

We do not provide provide reporting service itself, only PACS RIS only technology for you as radiologist, or for a clinic that is seeking for external radiologists.

How it works

1.Regional hospitals store images in the radiology archive and then send them via DATAMED network to the Emergency PACS server or workstations

2.Emergency doctors immediately access images either vie WEB viewers or in their workstations, provide consultations and prompt assistance before departure

Teleradiology reporting service

Every day several thousands of medical images are stored in DATAMED medical diagnostic archive. Our customers can provide professional medical service to other health institutions via our systems.

Simple steps how technically radiology reporting can be provided:

  1. Hospitals directly from their HW, modalities, store (send) their digital x-ray, RTG, MR, CT or other images into DATAMED PACS (Picture archiving and communication system) server in DICOM format for reporting or second opinion.
  2. Doctors, radiologists, via DM RIS receive information about incoming studies, retrieves studies from PACS viewer, write and save reports back into DATAMED Image management system.
  3. Hospital doctors retrieve particular reports with review images from DATAMED RIS.
